A prestigious company is seeking a Postgre

SQL Database Administrator with 7+ years of Postgre

SQL experience and 3+ years of experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.

• Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases
• Manage database performance and disk usage
• Provide support in database access methods
• Offer consultation in database analysis, modeling, coding, and production problem resolution
• Develop maintenance, backup and recovery procedures and documentation
• Participate in Disaster Recovery drills
• Provide primary on-call support for production issues
• Understand and support corporate data standards
• Recommend and assist with new DBMS and operational standards

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
• 7+ years’ experience with Postgre
  
  SQL (Enterprise
  
  DB preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD
• 3+ years’ experience with CTE, Barman, and AWS
• 5+ years’ experience with DB2 LUW (preferably on Red Hat Linux)
• 1+ years’ experience with SQL Server
• 1+ years’ experience with MySQL/MariaDB
• 1+ years’ experience with DB2 in a z/OS environment
• 3+ years’ experience developing and maintaining complex applications using database technologies or 3+ years’ experience as an associate DBA
• Experience in Systems Analysis and Design
• Experience in multiple programming and scripting languages
• Proficient in data modeling and translating to physical database designs
• Proficient in DML, DDL, and database utilities for at least two DBMS technologies
• Proficient in all access methods of a DBMS and underlying OS access methods
