Position: Exchange Operations Specialist- Junior/entry level, US

The exchange team develops and maintains a cutting-edge trading platform. With a global presence across APAC, EMEA, and North America, the team aims to provide a seamless and secure trading experience for clients.

The North American Derivatives Exchange (NADEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of , is a fully regulated, Chicago-based derivatives exchange. It is unique as the first exchange where retail investors can become members directly, without a broker. NADEX offers innovative capped-risk derivatives contracts on various global financial markets.

We seek a motivated, creative, self-starting, and dynamic new member for the exchange support team to safeguard the operation and administration of the Exchange and Clearing Organization, while also innovating and automating processes. This role is ideal for talented individuals aspiring to work in a niche, elite environment.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level remote management, administration, and support for the Production and Demo trading exchange, including:

Updating underlying symbols
Contract creation and scheduling
End of Day processing
Settlement of expired contracts
Assistance with problem support and resolution
Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery support

Participate in the development, refinement, and continuous improvement of services.

Implement and operate 3rd party tools to enhance, automate, and streamline service delivery.

Engage in quality assurance testing of services.

Assist with a variety of issues beyond the core responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

Knowledge or experience with cryptocurrency, prediction markets, options, and futures trading markets.

Database, software, or IT technical experience.

Securities trading software experience is preferred.

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Experience with SQL, Python, FIX, Linux, job scheduling, system monitoring, or high availability systems is preferred.

Ability to work in a mission-critical operational environment.

Proven ability to collaborate with internal departments to deliver superior customer service.

Familiarity with Linux servers is preferred.

Willingness to work periodic off-hours.
