Role

Summary:

As an Analyst on the BSA team, your primary focus will be on supporting our business leaders across the organization, primarily within our marketing department, by developing forecasting tools, understanding fan insights, building dashboards, creating automations, and generating actionable insights through analytics. This role is designed for candidates who thrive on using analytical tools to drive better decision‑making, and working hand in hand with our team to implement those solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Reporting

Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to facilitate data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Ticketing, Sponsorship, Marketing, Community Relations, etc.) to understand and execute against organizational objectives, including ensuring adoption of tools.

Build and maintain KPIs and reporting frameworks to assess ongoing performance, proactively recommending improvements during program execution.

Leverage advanced SQL knowledge to extract, transform, and load data from across channels.

Marketing Optimization

Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize campaigns based on data‑driven insights, ensuring continuous improvement and positive ROI.

Own the A/B testing process for marketing campaigns, analyzing results to refine spend allocation across channels and creative.

Conduct user journey analysis and conversion modeling to identify drop‑off points, improve customer experiences, and design automated marketing flows using marketing automation tools.

Stay current on emerging digital marketing technologies, analytics platforms, and best practices to enhance campaign measurement and optimization capabilities.

Fan Insights

Develop and execute a comprehensive fan survey strategy to inform engagements and business decisions across the organization.

Analyze syndicated marketing and audience data to uncover market trends and consumer behaviors.

Lead organizational efforts to establish a single source of truth for fan data, enabling accurate audience segmentation and personalized experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in quantitative, analytical and/or client‑facing roles

Degree in marketing, analytics, statistics, economics, psychology, or related fields

Technical

Skills:

Strong proficiency in SQL, with ability to write complex queries and work with large data sets

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Streamlit, etc.)

Experience with scripting languages such as R or Python a plus

Marketing

Skills:

Experience with marketing analytics tools & ad platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Ad Manager)

Understanding of survey design and tools (Qualtrics or similar)

Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) is a plus

Knowledge of and interest in SEO, programmatic, email marketing, social media…
