Position SummaryAs our SEO Strategist, you will be our resident expert on all things organic search, shaping well-rounded strategies backed by industry expertise.
What You’ll Do- Provide strategic thought leadership, in partnership with SEO Directors
- Perform research to understand target audience, brand, category, and competitive landscape
- Generate relevant content themes through thematic research for new and existing programs
- Carry out comprehensive SEO audits with recommendations for programs including:
- URL structure
- Crawling issues for search engines and AI chatbots
- Canonicalization issues
- Contextual links
- HTML & XML sitemaps
- Robots.txt
- Title, header, image, keyword, and description tags
- Social SEO recommendations
- Enhance on-page optimization in alignment with program goals and content strategy
- Identify and troubleshoot campaign errors in a timely manner or escalate as necessary
- Assist with creation of new reporting, templates, and processes as required
- Report project status to Account Manager and client team
- Support account team on client calls with technical campaign information
- Ensure websites and internet properties are technically optimized to attract and engage the target audience
- Suggest content improvements to improve organic traction
- Provide recommendations to improve visibility in large language models (LLMs)
- Monitor key metrics to assess opportunities and issues for search engines and LLMs, and regularly present findings to clients
- Keep updated on search marketing industry trends by researching, networking, and consuming new sources
- Share SEO knowledge to inform the business and support new strategies
- Demonstrate knowledge of SEO tools and advancements
- Assist in new business development as needed, including client research, planning, presentation materials, and meetings
- A leader in SEO with a minimum of 7+ years of online marketing experience and knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, and web standards
- Organized self-starter with a proven track record of improving organic search results
- Proficient with key SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, Bright Edge, MOZ/STAT, and Advanced Web Ranking
- Team player with ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects
- Strong communicator capable of both pitches and technical discussions
- Understanding of processes and numbers and their impact on agency and client success

This role requires three in-office days per week. Fully remote work is not available for this position.
