We are seeking a hands‑on Data Platform Administrator (Hadoop) to support and maintain enterprise‑scale big data platforms. This role is operations‑ and support‑focused, responsible for platform stability, monitoring, incident management, and cross‑team collaboration.
Base pay range$72.00/hr - $73.00/hr
Job Location:
Charlotte, NC or Chicago, IL (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)
This is not a Hadoop Engineer or Data Engineer role. Candidates must have strong production support experience and be comfortable with on‑call rotations.
Required Skills- Hadoop Administration experience (Cloudera preferred)
- Platform operations, cluster management, and production support
- Strong client‑facing and cross‑team collaboration skills
- Linux / Unix fundamentals and scripting
