SRE Crypto Engineer

We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertise in Linux, blockchain technologies, and Dev Ops to join an dynamic crypto engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of blockchain-based infrastructure, supporting mission-critical digital asset platforms and services

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and on-premises infrastructure for blockchain platforms and related services.
• Manage and automate Linux-based systems, including routine administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of distributed environments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Oversee containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring best practices for deployment, scaling, and security.
• Monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues using modern observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Collaborate closely with blockchain protocol engineers to influence system architecture and operational decisions.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues affecting system reliability, latency, and security; participate in blameless postmortems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guide and educate development teams on infrastructure best practices, security, and deployment strategies.
• Maintain and contribute to open-source blockchain repositories and stay up to date with emerging trends in the crypto and blockchain space.
• Implement and enforce security protocols, including cryptography and access controls, to protect sensitive data and digital assets.

• 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role, ideally in fintech, crypto, or blockchain environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in production environments.
• Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, Golang).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing cloud-native deployments.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Salt, etc.) and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with blockchain protocols, cryptography, and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and log management tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

• Experience with blockchain node operations, validator management, or protocol-level engineering.
• Familiarity with open-source contribution workflows and blockchain ecosystem tools.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka), database management, and network protocols is a plus.
• Experience with security auditing, penetration testing, or compliance frameworks.
