Jr. Business Analyst

Catalyst is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support our team in analyzing business processes and helping identify technology solutions that meet our clients’ needs. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in business analysis, technology implementation, and client communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and documenting client requirements for technology solutions.

• Work with senior analysts to analyze business processes and recommend improvements.

• Participate in developing user stories and specifications for new systems or updates to existing ones.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.

• Assist in testing new systems to confirm they meet client needs.

• Provide user training and support as needed.

• Monitor systems post-implementation and gather feedback for improvement.

• Prepare basic reports on system performance and usage metrics.

• Stay informed about technology trends and how they can be applied to business needs.

Whatyou’ll need to be successful:

• 1–2 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related roles (internships or relevant coursework accepted).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior analysts.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.

• Basic understanding of software development processes is a plus.

• Knowledge of Salesforce or SAP is a plus.

• Previous experience or internship in a consulting environment is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.
