Role OverviewYour responsibility will be to elevate our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization, establish industry‑leading practices, and drive technology decisions that simplify our platforms and improve performance. You will lead a team of onshore and offshore engineers, partner with product and engineering leaders, and balance feature delivery with reliability and scalability.
What We’re Looking For- Strategic yet hands‑on leadership with deep technical expertise in SRE, Dev Ops, or infrastructure.

- SRE Leadership & Team Development – manage and elevate a distributed engineering team.
- Optimize SRE practices – refine SLO/SLI frameworks, error‑budget management, and incident response.
- Strengthen reliability and observability culture across engineering teams.
- Drive AI‑first initiatives to improve speed to market.
- Strategic Technology Leadership – partner with product and engineering to deliver the core roadmap while balancing reliability requirements.
- Lead technology consolidation and simplification efforts to reduce operating costs.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability across all systems.
- Establish load testing, capacity planning, and automation initiatives to minimize manual toil.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present technical strategies to executive leadership.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in SRE, Dev Ops, or infrastructure leadership.
- Proven ability to build and scale SRE teams at high‑growth tech companies.
- Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Strong background in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and database technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Data Dog, or New Relic.
- Knowledge of AI automation and workflow optimization tools.
- Experience leading engineering teams composed of FTEs and offshore contractors.
- Track record of driving significant cost reductions through technology optimization.
- Ability to manage complex technical roadmaps with competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication skills for executive audiences.
- Proficiency translating technical concepts into business impact and ROI metrics.
- Experience in benefits administration, health‑care technology, or highly regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Background with HRIS integrations, API management, and enterprise software platforms.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Prior experience with tangible technology cost‑optimization initiatives.
- Certifications in cloud platforms or SRE methodologies.

- Location: Remote (eligible for work from a number of U.S. states)
- Starting Salary: $160,000‑$170,000 per year
