Systems Engineer, IT Consultant
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Domain Architect to join their team! This position is located in Chicago, Illinois.
Duties:
- Provide architectural vision to appropriately align IT to strategic business needs and goals
- Apply knowledge of the business operations, strategies, priorities and information requirements to establish the technical direction and an enterprise view
- Define enterprise level strategies and technical direction
- Define the system, technical, and application architectures
- Ensure best practices are adhered to
- Research, evaluate, and select from existing and emerging technologies that best fit business and IT strategic needs
- Manage multi-project management accountabilities in developing solutions in a collaborative environment
- Oversee the design and delivery for new or improved enterprise-wide technologies that are used across multiple areas of the business
- Architect solutions across multiple hardware/software computing environments and system components
- Plan and implement process re-engineering or process improvement
- Advanced degree in Health or Medical Services Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related functional discipline is preferred
- Proven experience in healthcare or public sector environments, particularly in administration, personnel and labor relations, or financial operations
- Strong background in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of large-scale enterprise systems
- Hands-on development experience with object-oriented programming languages
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with demonstrated experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development teams
