Responsibilities- Participate in the full lifecycle of forensic data collection, processing, and preservation.
- Lead a team of consultants, managing all aspects of onsite data collection.
- Collect, pre‑process, capture, and prepare images and other forensic artifacts.
- Maintain data and documentation according to chain‑of‑custody protocols.
- Perform data extraction and conversion to migrate data to the analysis environment.
- Process and support images and data once in the review environment.
- Analyze artifacts to trace user activity (file manipulation, USB activity, browser history, chat, cloud activity, cryptocurrency transactions, etc.).
- Plan and manage onsite data and evidence collection activities.
- Build relationships and reputation through stakeholder management.
- Communicate technical processes and findings clearly, including writing reports on forensic data analysis for clients and counsel.
- 8+ years of experience in digital forensics in a client‑facing, professional services setting.
- Extensive experience scoping and performing on‑site and remote forensics on endpoint, mobile, cloud, and social media data.
- Experience with forensic tool suites including EnCase, Cellebrite UFED, Physical Analyzer, Endpoint Inspector, Magnet Forensics Axiom.
- Experience performing forensic analyses and preparing client‑ready work product.
- Sound technical understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and best practices in forensic collection, analysis, and review.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral/written communication with clients and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle significant information with detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, uncertain environment.
- BS, BBA, or BA in a technical/analytical field.
- Flexibility to travel 20–40% of the time.
- Relevant certifications (GFCE, EnCE, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.
- Quantitative skills, experience with SAS, Stata, Python, R, Power BI, or SQL preferred.
