Manager, Tech Ops EngineeringLead the charge in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure Dev Ops infrastructure that supports our client-facing solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and project managers to optimize software delivery pipelines, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure peak performance across our diverse technology portfolio. Your deep expertise in leveraging Atlassian tools will play a pivotal role in driving our operational success and achieving our strategic goals.
Responsibilities- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This includes expertise in virtual machines, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), networking, storage, and serverless technologies.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development & Optimization: Build, maintain, and improve automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for various applications, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev Ops, Cloud Build, etc., and integrating with Atlassian products where appropriate.
- CMS Environment Management (Sitecore & AEM): Administer, optimize, and troubleshoot environments for both Sitecore and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning. Experience with both Sitecore XP/XM and related infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Ops Genie, Google Sec Ops, JSM, Snyk & Datadog) to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues, integrating alerts with Jira for streamlined incident management.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Pulumi to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version‑controlled infrastructure deployments.
- Automation: Automate routine operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning to minimize manual effort and improve efficiency, often driven by workflows within Jira or Confluence.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices across all cloud environments and applications, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaboration & Support: Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical guidance on infrastructure best practices. Utilize Jira for ticketing, task management, and sprint planning. Participate in on‑call rotations as needed.
