Market Data Administrator

The Market Data Administrator at S4 Market Data oversees client project administration and supports service delivery for managed services. Responsibilities include managing market data inquiries related to inventory, procurement, and renewals, and assisting lead analysts with project tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience with market data administrative functions such as inventory management (FITS/MDSL), contract updates, and invoice reconciliation. A background in finance or consulting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily inquiries from internal teams and lead analysts, including entitlement requests, inventory updates, procurement, legal approvals, expense allocation, and invoice reconciliation.
• Maintain an updated inventory of contracts, services, pricing, users, and vendors. Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Engage with internal stakeholders across departments such as technology, legal, finance, HR, and investment management to resolve procurement issues.
• Support lead analysts with client and project support, including data analysis in Excel as needed.
• Assist with SLA reporting for internal teams and client updates.
• Perform business development tasks and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services, market data, or consulting preferred. Knowledge of FITS/MDSL systems is a plus.
• Experience with Market Data vendors like Bloomberg, Fact Set, NYSE, ICE, etc. Intermediate Excel skills are required.
• Strong communication, task management, and time management skills are preferred. Ability to handle multiple requests efficiently.
• High energy, self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams.
