Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to uncover patterns, operational risks, and new business opportunities
- Validate data quality by checking completeness, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources
- Build, automate, and optimize large datasets to support advanced analytics, data mining, and visualization efforts
- Conduct exploratory analytics and create meaningful dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
- Act as a thought leader, recommend insights, hypotheses, and technical solutions for evolving product challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics outcomes align with business goals
- Exceptional analytical thinking and comfort operating in ambiguous environments
- Advanced SQL capabilities with hands-on experience working with high-volume datasets (400M+ rows/day)
- Proficiency with Quantum Metrics for product performance analytics
- Highly autonomous and proactive, able to drive initiatives with minimal direction
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or similar analytical functions
- Expertise in SQL and relational database environments
- Experience with modern data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Excel, etc.)
- Strong data manipulation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Proven capability to independently manage multiple analytics tasks and deliver results
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for advanced analytics and automation
- Familiarity with digital analytics/monitoring tools such as Akamai, Dynatrace, and Quantum Metrics
- Passion for uncovering insights within complex, high-volume data ecosystems
- Growth mindset with a willingness to continuously learn new technologies
