Manager ; Test

Job Title

Manager I – Test (Full‑time) – Chicago, IL (and various U.S. locations)

Lead test strategy development and execution for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.

• Develop, design, and monitor test strategies, plans, scenarios, and procedures.
• Coordinate and guide lower‑level team members through the testing process.
• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to customize testing solutions.
• Design and develop tools and test programs to identify issues and create repeatable test automation models.
• Conduct impact and gap analysis and participate in issue resolution.
• Ensure quality throughout design and implementation and track progress against project scope and delivery dates.
• Perform software testing, debugging of existing systems, and develop test scripts.
• Conduct code reviews and identify software defects using a bug tracking system.
• Research root cause and report defects to developers and ensure resolution and final testing.
• Develop test cases, test scenarios, and interpret test results in relation to acceptance criteria.

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Two (2) years of IT experience, including one (1) year with any one of the following skill sets:
• HP ALM, SAP MM, and SAP SD
• Java, JIRA, and Python
• Selenium, Putty, and Jenkins
• Travel up to 5% per year; telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
