Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Systems, the People Soft HCM and Financials Technical Lead will be responsible for providing technical leadership, design, and development expertise for People Soft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials applications. This role involves managing system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and ensuring optimal performance of People Soft environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and experience in guiding teams through complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage integration between People Soft and third-party systems using tools such as Integration Broker, REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for People Soft environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in People Soft applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in People Soft development and administration, with expertise in HCM and Financials modules.
- Strong proficiency in People Tools (Application Designer, Application Engine, People Code, Component Interface, Integration Broker).
- Experience with People Soft security, workflow, and reporting tools (PS Query, BI Publisher).
- Hands‑on experience with upgrades and applying PUM images.
- Knowledge of relational databases and Microsoft SQL.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Fluid UI and People Soft 9.2 features and People Tools 8.61.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
