About the RoleThe Financial Services & Insurance Industry (FSI) Senior Financials Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Financials solution for our FSI customers and help establish and champion best practices for all FSI deployments. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience within the FSI Industry in General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations. Additionally, candidate should have an understanding of financial touch points to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets.
KeyAreas of Responsibility
- Become an expert in the Workday Financials product suite
- Provide FSI Industry perspective for customer business requirements
- Ensure FSI Industry best practices are maintained to reflect new industry requirements and trends
- Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirement
- Serve as a mentor for new Financial Consultants
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday FSI Industry best practices
- Ensure the client is referenceable once the client is in production
- Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants
- 45 years FSI industry – ERP Implementations
- General Ledger, Consolidations, Allocations, Currency Revaluations and Translations Implementations experience
- Financial touchpoints to Projects, Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Assets Experience
- Workday Deployment Experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Experience with Workday Accounting Center
- Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, People Soft.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must, including active listening and the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
