Capgemini America Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Managing Solution Architect based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: assess project's technical feasibility, as well as implementation risks; design and implement project's technical architecture; coordinate installation of software systems; define the structure of system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation;

design and validate complex architecture and ensure its successful implementation; direct software programming and development of documentation; lead Capgemini operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence; prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status; deliver on defined revenue targets within a particular industry or service area; initiate and maintain client relationships; share practice management and administration responsibilities including overall management of project teams and development of staff;

and oversee and assign work to various engineering/IT personnel.

oversee and assign work to IT personnel.

• This position requires a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering (any), or related field.
• Plus at least 7 years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Senior Development Lead, Senior Configuration Lead, Senior Integration Lead or related IT position.
• Experience including: planning, documentation, use case creation, technical design, product configuration, defect management and reporting, and application deployment.
• Experience overseeing requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems.
• Experience identifying and resolving IT issues within specific business environments.
