Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Senior API Tester with deep expertise in Telecom BSS/OSS systems and experience working with major telcos such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and maintain API test strategies and automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and performance of telecom services.
Your Role- Design and implement comprehensive API test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Conduct Telecom (Mobile Postpaid/Prepaid Service) testing with strong domain knowledge.
- Execute test design, test execution, and defect management processes.
- Assess test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear status updates.
- 6+ years of experience in API testing, with at least 3+ years in the Telecom domain.
- Strong hands‑on experience with REST/SOAP API testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, Ready
API). - Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Solid understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and CI/CD integration.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Telecom BSS/OSS systems and integration testing.
- Experience with performance testing tools and security validation.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $65,200 - $158,550.
