The Business Information Developer Consultant Senior will be viewed as an expert while supporting Carelon Payment Integrity in the development and execution of data mining analyses. The Business Developer Consultant Sr. will lead the onshore/offshore development team of engineers and Dev Ops to produce scalable product solutions.

• Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
• Develops very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse.
• Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for the team.
• Establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
• Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
• Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
• Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse‑related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
• Conducts training on use of applications developed.
• This job is focused on spending time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions.

Requires a BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

• Expert level of medical claims, analysis (professional, facility, RX, dental, vision, transportation), and data modeling experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to write and/or review Python code to develop and debug complex software solutions strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP/CDP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with data warehouse technologies including Snowflake/CFF, Edward, ODW, GBD Facets and other sources.
• Experience using Java, Angular
  
  JS, Micro UIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git, Git Hub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Project management and product ownership experience driving release management efforts for the team, issue resolution process, solutioning, fixes and implementations within an Agile environment.
• Effective communication with multiple levels of the organization including model/data story interpretation and presentations including resource training.
• Experience working with offshore teams to develop high‑availability and scalable systems.
• Experience in supporting AI adoption initiatives within an organization.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the following locations, the salary range for this specific position is $123,984 to $203,688.
