Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Information Technology Project Manager 3based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations.
S/he will perform the following duties:
- design technical solution architecture for identified system requirements and proof of concepts
- deliver on technical and non-functional areas of projects by providing high level expertise and in-depth knowledge of Point of Sale (POS), Merchandising Systems, Sales Audit Systems, Merchandising Allocations systems, Merchandising Pricing Systems, Mark Up/Down management systems and Store Mobile POS applications
- provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of Point of Sale (POS), Merchandising Pricing Systems and Store Mobile POS
- identify and design the automation solutions for area, including flow of pricing files from corporate to stores, setting up Test POS for business team to execute the upcoming merchandising price changes, automation of mid-day price change push from corporate to store POS, and automation of RFID inventory reconciliation
- provide technical guidance on implementation projects, including training clients in the use of the software, evaluating clients’ technical and functional requirements, and developing cost-effective solutions
- proactively manage changes in project scope, including identifying inter-segment system problems and risk mitigation and devising contingency plans
- and troubleshoot production issues and support triage, reporting and correction of production software
