Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Applications Developer 2 based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties:

• conduct software-specific design and realization;
• analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
• coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met;
• perform testing, deployment and release management, and/or technical and functional application management of package based solutions, including SAP or ORACLE;
• build solutions and maintain/optimize/improve client applications and systems;
• contribute to business and technical blueprint and respective Software Package Core Modules.

• Bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field plus at least 2 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Management Consultant, Systems Analyst, or related IT position.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 2 years of study towards any U.S. bachelor's degree plus at least 6 years of IT experience.
• Experience with business software analysis, design, configuration, testing and support in packages including SAP, ORACLE, Netsuite, JDA, Salesforce, or Microsoft.
• Experience performing full life cycle project implementations, including project blueprint, realization, go-live, and post go-live support.
• Experience performing gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development.
