Senior User Experience / UX Designer - Chicago

As our Sr. UX Designer you’ll work with our clients to understand their needs, business requirements and technical limitations, translating them into design prototypes. You’ll take ownership of software-specific design and realization, managing the testing, deployment and release of technical and functional client-specific package-based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE).

Responsibilities:

• Assume accountability for translating business cases into a detailed technical design.
• Translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications.
• Take ownership of operational and technical issues.
• Perform integration and user acceptance testing.
• Serve as SME in one or more business processes and technology practices.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years (3 years of minimum relevant experience in the role) experience
• Work collaboratively with clients and team to finalize and implement your design
• Possess a clear understanding of UX Design and User Centered Design methods
• Experience planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility
• Prototyping using iRise or similar tool
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Suite
• Bachelor's degree with a minor or major in design or psychology

Nice to have:

• UX Certification
• A collaborative and iterative design mindset

Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
