Summary

This position is responsible leading the implementation, testing, planning and maintenance of Rush’s applications and systems. This role serves as a liaison between users and technical staff, working with business areas to collect, aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to drive insights and business performance. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

  • 5+ years experience with cloud HCM/ERP systems
  • 1-3 years leading a team and/or project manager for 1M+ projects

Required Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Healthcare Analytics and Productivity
  • Working knowledge of UKG Datahub
  • 7 years of system analysis or systems development experience.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep experience with a variety of programming languages and development tools and ability to assist colleagues with development and troubleshooting use of tools.
  • Experience assessing business needs and translating them into relevant solutions in an ERP or EMR environment.
  • Experience leading teams of 3-5 individuals in completing project requirements.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience with cloud HCM/ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of UKG Healthcare Extensions
  • Working knowledge of UKG Integrations and Transaction Assistant
  • Either Human Resources or Healthcare systems related degree and/or certification (ex. RN license, SHRM, HRIP, etc)

Responsibilities
  • Command of all components of system ecosystem and their inter working relationships. Able to provide recommendations and solutions to issues requiring understanding of multiple disciplines.

  • Creates and provides quality review of technical specifications, testing plans, and general artifacts that describe the use of systems and modifications made to systems.
  • Develops, analyzes, prioritizes, organizes requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow. Provides quality review of these artifacts developed by colleagues.
  • Performs and manages the set-up and configuration of workflows. Able to translate technical specifications into workflow changes by modifying workflow tools and system functions.
  • Performs quality review and provides guidance to colleagues.
  • Translates complex requirements into technical specifications. Able to challenge requirements and make recommendations on processes. Provides guidance to colleague and vendor on design.
  • Validates results by testing programs. Ensures that colleagues follow testing standards, practices and methodoligies. Able to quality review colleagues testing practices.
  • Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
  • Work with software vendors to troubleshoot defects in tools, processes and workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned.
