Capgemini America, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Infrastructure Engineer 1 based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters.

The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing computer infrastructure systems; apply subject matter knowledge to understand specific system needs or requirements;implement Ad-hoc project work requests; coordinate on-call cover and out ofhours support; research, develop and deliver effective solutions to support the infrastructure systems for IT applications using current and emerging technologies;

serve as part of a team of technical specialists in service delivery and transitional projects; monitor servers to address issues andensure contracted services are met; coordinate activities related to the infrastructure(network, telecommunications, basic software, hardware, servers) and database,involving the definition, development and maintenance of procedures; and administer the study and implementation of new processes and techniques for thearea.

• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing computer infrastructure systems.
