The Computer Support Analyst II position is located in Chicago, IL 60603 in the United States. Netrix Global, an award‑winning provider of cybersecurity and end‑to‑end IT services, seeks an analyst who will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients and internal teams. The analyst will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, configure computer systems, maintain and upgrade software applications, and ensure overall IT system functionality.
HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Provide technical assistance for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of computer systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, networks, applications, and peripherals.
- Perform regular upgrades to keep systems updated and secure.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals.
- Train end‑users on new hardware and software applications.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting when necessary.
- Ensure all IT equipment complies with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all company and client information.
- Work overtime during the tax season (Feb 1–Apr 30 each year).
- Travel up to an hour from downtown customer L2 work.
- Work remotely outside the defined tax season dates (Feb 1–Apr 30 each year) to perform remote L2 work.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Computer Support Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Daily interaction with client management and employees.
