We are hiring a Sr. Business Technical Analyst, focused on Digital Payments data ingestion, curation and analytics. This area covers data flowing from our payment providers and McDonald's payment services. This role sits within Data Analytics, Architecture and AI. This group manages data from various areas of the business including Sales, Restaurant, Finance, People and many more. You will work alongside passionate data engineering professionals and business stakeholders focused on Digital Payments, Treasury and Mar Tech.

The Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI (EDAA) organization empowers every function—marketing, operations, supply chain, and more—through seamless integration of business and technology.

• Requirement Translation:
  Lead the translation of complex business requirements into technical specifications for data models, ETL process, and reporting tools
• Documentation Management:
  Oversee the maintenance and updating of technical documentation
• Technical Liaison:
  Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensure alignment between business logic and technical implementation
• Project Leadership:
  Lead technical projects and ensure timely delivery
• Advanced Stakeholder Engagement:
  Engage with senior stakeholders to refine requirements
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to design and optimize data pipelines
• Ensure data accessibility and usability for business users

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or related technical field
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases, knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
• Exposure to programming (Python, etc.) for data analysis is a plus
• Proficiency in technical documentation and specification writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with software development lifecycle and methodologies
• Excellence communication skills between technical and non-technical teams
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
