CGS seeks a dedicated technologist to support our legal accounts, ensuring compliance with civil and criminal litigation, FOIA, Congressional requests, and more. The role requires expertise in electronic discovery tools and the ability to advise on technology solutions.
Responsibilities- Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation to assess impact on current Enforcement Discovery procedures.
- Track commercial industry developments to identify new technologies or best practices that can improve Enforcement Discovery.
- Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
- Conduct testing of system upgrades or patches prior to release.
- Verify that proposed solutions deliver new functional business capabilities addressing existing requirements.
- Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil litigation, selected criminal matters, FOIA requests, Congressional requests and other external inquiries using current FBI tools and processes.
- Monitor daily separation reports to identify departing legal‑hold custodians and ensure proper preservation of material subject to legal‑hold requirements.
- Update and/or create standard operating procedures for the Enforcement TA role.
- Leverage strong technical background on electronic discovery applications combined with legal expertise.
- 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience focused on client solutions.
- 3+ years of progressive, responsibility‑bearing experience on major litigation support projects.
- 2 years experience in Relativity beyond document review coding.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for technical teams and non‑technical business leaders.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience; JD highly preferred.
