Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Technology and Operations department supporting multiple project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong soft skills, adaptability, team-oriented mindset, and practical problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Key to this role: PMP certification, prior financial services/banking experience, experience managing the onboarding of a 3rd party vendor application / system / product

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA or Kennesaw, GA, or Chicago, IL

Pay Range: 60-62/hr W2

Contract Length: 12+ months

• Manage end-to-end delivery of significant organizational projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to onboard new tools and platforms, including AI and ML models.
• Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise change standards and procedures, maintaining thorough documentation and evidence.

• Proven experience managing projects within a banking or financial services environment.
• Prior experience working with vendor onboarding and cross-team coordination.
• Strong soft skills such as adaptability, teamwork, and practical problem-solving.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• Experience with AI/ML projects is a plus.
