As a Senior Analyst, you will analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that directly impact strategic decision‑making and drive business growth. You will architect a connected ecosystem of dashboards and reports that empower teams across the business to move faster, smarter, and more confidently. This involves executing advanced analyses, improving reporting processes, and collaborating closely with senior leadership to address critical business challenges.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to optimize business performance, implement strategic initiatives, and ensure that decisions are backed by robust data analysis and reliable ‘source of truth’ reporting and metrics. Your work will directly impact growth, operational efficiency, and how key projects are executed, keeping the organization competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Your primary focus will be on the Merchant Network team, responsible for signing, onboarding, retaining, and growing restaurant partners on Grubhub.

• Analyze complex data to understand critical drivers of business performance, including fraud prevention, customer care, and logistics operations.
• Build and maintain a connected ecosystem of dashboards and reports across platforms such as Tableau and Redash, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional business leaders to turn data into actionable insights, influencing key decisions with high‑quality analysis.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive, data‑driven dashboards and reporting solutions that drive strategic and operational decisions.
• Own the preparation, tracking, monitoring, and communication of key performance indicators on a regular cadence, investigating variances and anomalies.
• Design and implement financial models supporting strategic initiatives across various departments.
• Establish, document, and maintain a company‑wide ‘Source of Truth’ for metrics, driving consistency in definitions, sources, and reporting methodologies.
• Automate recurring reporting tasks and streamline dashboard creation, building scalable frameworks and reusable templates to support future business growth.
• Continuously improve data processes, enhancing reporting efficiency and increasing overall analytical impact.
• Mentor junior analysts, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing analytical best practices.
• Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies to refine analyses and make proactive recommendations.

• 3‑5 years of experience in Data, Business Intelligence, or Analytics, with a proven track record of leading advanced data analyses and developing impactful dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or certifications in data science, business analytics, or related areas is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with data modeling, cleaning, and transformation best practices; experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation is preferred.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and forecasting.
