Overview:

Sage Sure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking an intern to support our growing Claims department. Over this internship, the Claims Intern will gain tangible, hands-on experience and insight into our business operations. You will join our Claim Strategy team, and in this role you will help develop operational reports and dashboards that will support the continued scaling and growth of the team, and will gain valuable insights into the processes and tools necessary to build and sustain a complex claim function.

What you'd be doing:

* Identify operational reporting opportunities with Claims department supervisors and leaders

* Develop data and visual dashboards that can be used to quickly identify needed actions

* Work with leaders to incorporate operational data and dashboards into daily and weekly management processes

* Build reports that serve as operational controls

* Establish framework for understanding and making efficient use of currently available, operational, claims data

We're looking for someone who has:

* An undergraduate education in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field, with an anticipated graduation date in 2026 or 2027

* AI experience or coursework (e.g., applied AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or workplace analytics tools).

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Advanced Excel skills

* Intermediate or better SQL programming skills

* Experience using data and reporting or business intelligence tools (eg Tableau, Domo, Power

BI, etc)

* AI experience or coursework (e.g., applied AI, machine learning, natural language processing, or workplace analytics tools).

* Ability to work independently and as a team member

* Authorization to work in the United States

* GPA of 3.0 or better
