Sharepoint Architect (with .net experience)
This role is a permanent, fully benefited position located onsite in downtown Chicago. Candidates must be US citizens or green card holders. The focus is on SharePoint architecture and .NET development.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Key responsibilities- Function as an SME in SharePoint and .NET Framework solutions while providing support to Risk, Marketing, and Administration Systems portfolio.
- Work across functions & teams with internal & external IT partners to implement and manage collaboration systems to meet the objectives of this organization.
- Work with IT engineers and architects throughout this client’s global technology environment, including managing delivery and operationalizing updates.
- Lead the development of long‑term strategic goals for collaboration solutions, software, and data integrations.
- Function as a Technical Lead on projects by developing an understanding of existing systems and processes and identifying future needs.
- Develop and document SharePoint & .NET Framework best practices, guidelines, security, and governance.
- Interpret complex technical documentation and effectively communicate information to individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Respond to support escalations and investigate, analyze, document, and provide root cause resolution to reported incidents.
- Mentor other team members and provide training.
- Attend regular vendor meetings for areas of expertise and remain informed of the latest technology roadmaps, security notifications, and bug/hot fixes.
- At least 7 years of enterprise‑level solution architecture experience in SharePoint and .NET, including architecting SharePoint Online solutions.
- At least 7 years developing .NET & SharePoint solutions with end‑user requirement gathering, documentation, process flow diagramming, testing, and bug fixes.
- Experience deploying and managing SharePoint Online solutions in Azure Dev Ops.
- SharePoint experience must include SPFx.
- .NET experience must include C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and MVVM.
- Experience in a global environment is a plus.
