Senior Data Analyst

Trans Union's Job Applicant Privacy Notice Personal Information We Collect Your Privacy Choices Team Overview The Senior Data Analyst will report into a Senior Manager of Data Science & Analytics. As part of the Data Analytics Team, you will help with development of Trans Union’s IP Geolocation technology, leveraging IP network topology. You will be working with other Data Analytics Team members as well as Engineers and Data Scientists to help improve automation algorithms and leveraging big data to arrive at the most up to date, accurate information to our customers.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities Identify and implement automation algorithm improvements

Utilize tools to query, extract and transform large datasets using SQL, R, Python, Mongo DB, Big Query Provide  analytic insights to large data set that can help impact the quality of our data Leverage problem-solving skills and work through complex problems with various stakeholders

Required Knowledge and Experiences5+ years of data science experience

Proven experience with tools such as SQL, R, Python, Mongo DB and Big Query Sufficient  ability translating technical terminology for non technical stakeholders
