DKW is currently looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to support our team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customers located at Naval Station Great Lakes in Chicago, IL. This position is on site with very minimal telework.
Overview- Installing and updating Operating Systems
- Software installation and administration
- Setting up a network to support modelling/simulation and emulating systems used on the bridge of US Navy ships
- Installing and configuring network switches
- IT skillset and Systems Administration background
- Active Directory Administration
- Broadcom VMWare (ESXi, vSphere, vCenter)
- Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM)
- Backup/restoration (preferably VEEAM)
- Centralized Security Management (preferably McAfee ePO)
- Cisco Switches
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Solarwinds Orion
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems or mathematics. 8 years of related work experience may be substituted for education requirement.
- Five (5) years of engineering or network/computer systems administrator experience.
- 1 - 2 years of experience with building and configuring within ACAS.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in the Information Assurance field.
- IAT Level I Certification or higher is STRONGLY preferred – if not, must obtain one within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to work with a team and collaborate with various government personnel.
