Real Estate - Business Systems Analyst

Description Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to support strategic, global technology initiatives within a Real Estate Technology organization. This role will serve as the bridge between business and technical teams, leading requirements gathering, process analysis, risk identification, and delivery support for large-scale technology transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities Lead discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders to understand current processes, challenges, dependencies, and future-state needs.

Gather, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.

Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and process documentation.

Partner with Technical Project Managers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and business leaders throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify project risks, dependencies, trade-offs, gaps, and implementation impacts.

Support backlog refinement and requirements prioritization.

Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to maintain alignment.

Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, issue tracking, and stakeholder signoff.

Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements for scalability and operational efficiency.

Proactively escalate risks and drive resolution before they impact delivery.

Support global technology implementations and change initiatives across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.

Ideal Candidate Senior-level Business Systems Analyst with experience supporting complex, enterprise technology initiatives.

Strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT.Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with limited direction.

Strong communicator who can influence multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority.

Experience partnering with both business and technical teams.

Experience supporting large-scale or global technology rollouts.

Skills & Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Real Estate, Workplace Services, Facilities, or Corporate Operations organizations.

Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem concepts and integrations (administrative experience not required).Experience partnering with Technical Project Managers and enterprise architecture teams.

Experience working within large, matrixed, global organizations.

Agile and hybrid delivery methodology experience.

Able to influence decision-making without formal authority.

Curious, proactive, and willing to challenge assumptions constructively.

Skilled at balancing business priorities with technical considerations.

Confident navigating executive, operational, and technical conversations.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
