Salary: $104, per year
Requirements:- 5–10 years of hands-on SQL development experience, including advanced query development
- Experience with relational databases, database querying, and data extraction
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Experience analyzing large datasets and troubleshooting data or reporting issues
- Strong understanding of database structures, tables, relationships, and data models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Preferred technologies include SQL Server, Oracle, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and data extracts
- Query and analyze enterprise database data for business and operational reporting
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using data from multiple sources
- Validate and reconcile data, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure reporting accuracy
- Review database structures and identify suitable data sources for reporting needs
- Work with business users to understand data and reporting requirements
- Turn business requirements into SQL queries, data solutions, and reporting specifications
- Identify data quality issues and investigate discrepancies across systems
- Support data integration and reporting initiatives involving Oracle, Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric
- Develop data models and datasets for operational reporting and business intelligence
- Document queries, data sources, reporting logic, and technical solutions

We are seeking a SQL Developer / BI Developer to support our New Business and Distribution Operations teams, with a focus on SQL development, database querying, data extraction, reporting, and business intelligence. The role is based in Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois, with a hybrid work arrangement. This is a 12-month contract scheduled for 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, with pay of $50–$62 per hour plus 1.5x overtime.
