Optomi, in partnership with one of our top clients, is seeking a talented programer to join their team! The IBM Systems Automation Software Systems Programmer/Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting IBM Systems Automation products in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment.

Job Must Haves:
- 5+ years of IBM z/OS systems programming or systems administration experience
- Hands-on experience with IBM Systems Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS)
- Strong knowledge of IBM Net View
- Experience with z/OS operating system administration
- Knowledge of JES2/JES3, RACF, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, SMP/E, and JCL
- Experience writing REXX, CLIST, or automation scripts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Nice to Haves:
- Experience migrating IBM's Auto Operations software to Broadcom's OPS/MVS software
- Experience with IBM GDPS environments
- Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex
- Experience with IBM OMEGAMON or other IBM monitoring tools
- Familiarity with IBM Tivoli products
- Experience with automation policy development and customization
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VTAM, and mainframe networking
