Role: Open Text / Content Repository Consultant
Location: Remote
We are looking for an experienced Open Text Consultant with hands-on experience in Open Text Content Server and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. The resource will be responsible for repository development, configuration, customization, document management, workflow development, and integration with enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, configure, and maintain Open Text Content Server and repository solutions.
- Manage document storage, metadata, categories, permissions, and access controls.
- Develop and customize workflows, Web Reports, and Live Reports.
- Support repository administration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Integrate Open Text with external applications using REST APIs and web services.
- Support document migration, indexing, and content retrieval.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and optimize repository performance.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and support testing and deployment activities.
- Hands-on experience with Open Text Content Server / Content Suite.
- Experience in repository development, configuration, and administration.
- Knowledge of workflows, Web Reports, Live Reports, and document management.
- Understanding of metadata, categories, permissions, and security.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Open Text Extended ECM (xECM) and Archive Server.
- Knowledge of OTDS, OScript, Smart UI, and CSUI customization.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and application servers.
- Exposure to SAP integration or cloud-based deployments.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and support project delivery.
