Job Description:
HiveMQ Platform Engineer Dev Ops
- 1. Install, configure, and administer HiveMQ Enterprise MQTT Broker on RHEL/Linux servers in DMZ environments and AWS EKS.
- 2. Design, implement, and maintain highly available (HA) HiveMQ clusters.
- 3. Configure HiveMQ clustering, node discovery, health checks, and failover mechanisms.
- 4. Deploy and manage HiveMQ workloads on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
- 5. Configure HAProxy, NGINX, or AWS load balancers for MQTT traffic.
- 6. Manage Linux services, systemd, firewall rules, ports, DNS, and network connectivity.
- 7. Configure MQTT authentication, authorization, TLS certificates, and secure communication.
- 8. Automate installations, deployments, configuration, and maintenance using Bash or Python.
- 9. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.
- 10. Manage Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, Config Maps, Secrets, and resource configurations.
- 11. Monitor HiveMQ cluster health, message throughput, client connections, and broker performance.
- 12. Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
- 13. Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- 14. Execute platform upgrades, patching, backup planning, and disaster recovery procedures.
- 15. Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to ensure reliable MQTT messaging.
