This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.
Alpha Gov is seeking an Oracle / People Soft ERP Consultant for remote, project-based work with public agencies. There is no guaranteed assignment.
What you'll do:- Support Oracle or People Soft ERP pursuits and, when awarded, the related functional work streams
- Cover finance, HCM, payroll, procurement, or grants modules you have actually delivered
- Plan configuration, testing, conversion, and cutover from the legacy system the agency is leaving
- Document interfaces to other agency systems and the data the agency must clean first
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to proposals only when naming is authorized
- Support agency user testing and go-live readiness
- Call out module or version limits before a proposal treats them as in scope
Required
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, or People Soft delivery as a functional lead or senior consultant
- Depth in at least one of finance, HCM, payroll, procurement, or grants
- Experience with testing, conversion, and cutover
- Able to name the product and version you delivered, not a generic ERP claim
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based collaborator, with occasional client travel
Nice to have
- Public-sector Oracle or People Soft work for a city, county, state, school system, or university
- Experience migrating People Soft to Oracle Cloud
