** As a Data Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing our enterprise data platform strategy. You will design scalable, secure, and governed data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and business decision-making across the organization. By establishing architectural standards, mentoring engineering teams, and driving best practices, you will help build a modern data ecosystem that supports current and future business needs.
** WHAT YOU WILL DO...
*** Design and implement enterprise data solutions leveraging Databricks, Azure, and modern cloud data technologies.
* Lead data engineering solution design utilizing Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture principles.
* Guide and mentor teams responsible for data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data platform implementation.
* Define and implement scalable data integration patterns and data movement strategies.
* Establish, maintain, and evolve architecture standards, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
* Implement and enforce data security frameworks using Unity Catalog, role-based access controls (RBAC), data masking, row-level security, column-level security, and least-privilege access models.
* Ensure data quality, monitoring, auditing, lineage, and governance capabilities are implemented and maintained across data solutions.
* Optimize Apache Spark workloads, Delta tables, and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
* Review technical designs and provide guidance to data engineers and development teams.
* Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and reusable design patterns.
* Partner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and enterprise architecture strategies.
