IT Infrastructure
I'm currently looking to connect with an experienced hardware procurement professional for a remote opportunity with a well-established technology infrastructure business.
This isn't your typical IT procurement role. The focus is on the physical infrastructure that keeps data centres running and I'm keen to speak with people who have hands-on experience purchasing enterprise hardware, rather than primarily end‑user devices or software.
What will you be working with?- Enterprise servers and server components
- Storage arrays and enterprise storage systems
- Networking equipment, switches, routers and optical transceivers
- Data centre hardware, cabling and associated components
You’ll manage the full procurement lifecycle, working closely with internal infrastructure, capacity management and operations teams to understand requirements, source and compare supplier quotations, raise purchase orders, track lead times and coordinate orders through to delivery.
You’ll manage multiple procurements at different stages simultaneously, ranging from smaller hardware components to significant, high‑value infrastructure purchases.
Who am I looking to speak with?Someone with direct experience purchasing physical IT infrastructure, who understands the basics of enterprise hardware and is comfortable working with technical teams and suppliers.
Experience buying servers, storage and networking equipment in a data centre, cloud, hosting or managed infrastructure environment is essential.
If your experience is exclusively in laptops, desktops, software licenses or general contract procurement, this particular opportunity is unlikely to be the right fit.
(If this job is in fact in your jurisdiction, then you may be using a Proxy or VPN to access this site, and to progress further, you should change your connectivity to another mobile device or PC).
