About The Role:
- Handle a portfolio of complex commercial P&C accounts with autonomy and responsibility
- Collaborate with brokers and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal underwriting outcomes
- Shape underwriting strategy while upholding corporate guidelines and risk appetite
- Provide expert advice, support, and mentorship to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Actively contribute to business planning and strategic initiatives aligned with company growth objectives
- Engage with clients and brokers to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ commercial P&C underwriting experience
- Strong technical underwriting and risk analysis capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with the ambition to progress into leadership
- CPCU designation (or progress toward) highly regarded
- Competitive 6-figure base salary ($100K–$130K DOE) + performance bonus
