Banking/Finance Associate (4-8 yrs) – Am Law 100 Firm

About the Position: Our client, a distinguished international law firm, has an active need for a finance attorney with experience handling leveraged finance transactions, to join its Chicago office as an associate. This firm’s finance group advises clients of all types, rather than focusing on one side of the market, and this role offers the opportunity to grow your practice and work on a broad range of leveraged finance transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Advise sponsors, borrowers, arrangers, agents, and lenders on complex domestic and cross-border finance transactions, including leveraged and acquisition financings across secured and unsecured, single-lender and syndicated, and cash flow and asset-based facilities

Required Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience representing domestic and international banks and other financial institutions in a wide range of leveraged transactions
• Will also consider candidates with experience representing large or middle market companies or funds in their financing needs
• Large law firm experience (Am Law 100 preferred)

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $275,000 – $350,000.
