Data Privacy Associate (3-5) – Top Am Law 50 Firm About the Position

Our client, a prestigious Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a data privacy attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. This practice provides full-service solutions across the entire range of innovative technologies throughout the world, and its attorneys help clients stay ahead of evolving risk by shaping compliance programs, cross‑border data transfers, incident response, and advisory services, and defensive actions following cyber/data security breaches.

• Advise clients on the development and implementation of complex AI and privacy compliance programs and risk assessments
• Assist clients with proactive and reactive cybersecurity and data protection services, including incident preparedness and response, compliance with cyber laws, and data governance
• Provide client advice on matters involving cross-border data transfers, data breaches, and data privacy diligence

• 3-5 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and/or AI law, including advisory experience
• Experience at a large law firm or at a firm specializing in IP/data security
• Excellent academic credentials

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 to $365,000.
