About the Position: Our client, an Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago, is actively seeking a corporate finance attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join its practice as a junior‑level associate. This highly‑regarded firm has one of the nation’s largest legal practices focusing on the corporate and regulatory representation of financial institutions, and attorneys in the practice represent private equity funds, underwriters, investment bankers, and lenders in complex transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle private equity, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions for a variety of companies in the public and private sectors
• Assist clients with general corporate and corporate governance matters

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of general corporate transactional experience, including M&A
• Experience in bank/financial services M&A and regulatory matters
• Large law firm experience
• Excellent academic credentials

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $225,000+.
