Corporate M&A​/PE Associate – Chambers-Ranked Practice of Am Law Firm

About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a corporate lawyer with strong M&A/PE experience (2-6 yrs) to join as an associate in Chicago. This firm’s industry leading corporate practice handles high end, complex transactions and its outstanding team of attorneys has advised clients on more than 500 M&A deals worldwide in the past two years alone.

Responsibilities:

· Advise clients on M&A transactions

· Represent private equity sponsors in the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies

Required Qualifications:

· 2-6 years of significant M&A and private equity experience

· Large law firm experience preferred

· Top academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000 – $390,000.
