Private Equity/M&A Attorney (4-5 yrs) – Am Law 50 Firm

Our client, an international law firm renowned for its market-leading work with tech and start-up clients, is actively seeking a private equity and M&A attorney to join its practice in Chicago. This world-class transactional team has over 7,000 private company clients and a long history of representing financial sponsors, high-growth companies and founders in a range of industries, including software, healthcare/health services, fintech, edtech, telecom, aerospace, defense and government.

• Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and other ancillary transaction documents
• Handle day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients

• 4-5 years of large law firm private equity and M&A experience
• Experience working with private equity sponsors
• Strong academic credentials

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $365,000.
