Tax Associate Attorney (Corporate Transactions) –$175k–$240k BASE SALARY – Chicago, IL

We’re connecting with attorneys in the 2–6 year range who have experience in federal and state income taxation of business entities and transactions.

• Advise clients on tax structuring for M&A and corporate transactions
• Draft and review tax provisions in transaction documents
• Support clients with partnership allocations and entity formations
• Collaborate with corporate and finance teams to provide integrated deal advice

• J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation preferred;
  Illinois bar admission required or pending
• 2–6 years of transactional tax experience
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and client‑service mindset

$175,000 – $240,000 base salary, depending on firm size and experience. Most firms offer annual bonuses, hybrid work flexibility, and comprehensive benefits.
