Key Responsibilities
  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial
  • Manage cases involving auto accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and other injury claims
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal briefs
  • Perform legal research and factual investigation to support case strategy
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel
  • Advocate for clients at mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Maintain consistent, compassionate communication with clients and manage expectations
  • Collaborate with case managers, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case handling
  • Track deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural and ethical requirements
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in MO (TX, KS, IL a plus)
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation
  • Strong negotiation, litigation, and trial advocacy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
  • Client-focused mindset with a strong commitment to ethical advocacy
