Junior Litigation Attorney - tier firm

Leading boutique litigation firm seeks a litigation attorney to join its Chicago office.

• Manage class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.
• Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, and preparing pleadings.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
• Appear in court for motions and pre‑hearing proceedings.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
• 1+ years of litigation experience, ideally in a large law firm setting.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrate 'Big Law' quality of work with lower billable hour requirements.
